One of the challenges for the sustainable energy system is to ensure the balance of the power system. Hydropower, with its flexibility and cost-effective regulation capacity, plays a key role here. This center of excellence is a collaboration between the hydropower industry, academia and government authorities to ensure that hydropower can continue to play this key role in the future.
